Αρθροσκοπική Αθλητική Τραυματολογία
Απόφοιτος και διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, ο ιατρός Π. Γ. Νταγιόπουλος πραγματοποίησε την ειδίκευσή του στη Χειρουργική Ορθοπαιδική & Τραυματολογία αρχικά στο νοσοκομειο Guy’s & St. Thoma’s στο Λονδίνο και στο Γ.Ν. Αθηνών “Γ. Γεννηματάς”. Στη συνέχεια, εξειδικεύθηκε στην κλινική ATOS στη Χαιδελβέργη και στο νοσοκομείο A. Mignot στις Βερσαλλίες, στη χειρουργική του κάτω άκρου.
Εργάσθηκε για περισσότερο από δυόμιση χρόνια στη Λυόν, η οποία λαμβανει στην ορθοπαιδική κοινότητα μια ευδιάκριτη θέση στη χειρουργική του γόνατος, τη «Χειρουργική Σχολή Γόνατος της Λυόν» (Lyon School of Knee Surgery). Αυτό οφείλεται τόσο στην παρουσία και εργασία στα νοσοκομεία της πόλης μερικών από των σημαντικότερων χειρουργών γόνατος που εμπλούτισαν την ορθοπαιδική με νέες χειρουργικές τεχνικές, όσο και στην συστηματική προσέγγιση και ανάλυση των παθήσεων του γόνατος από μια ευρύτερη ομάδα ορθοπαιδικών που εκπαιδεύτηκαν έκτοτε εκεί.
